Orange appoints product marketing and development SVP

Orange International Carriers has appointed Jean-Bernard Willem as SVP of product marketing and development.

Jean-Bernard Willem - OrangeWillem, who has been with the Orange Group for over 24 years’ and has extensive marketing experience, is now part of the management team in charge of marketing digital entertainment services.

His appointment, which became effective in March 2017, sees Willem manage a marketing team of 75 people in four lines of business: voice; data (IP, bandwidth, OTI), mobile services (SS7, IPX, messaging), and security. He is charge of developing the P&L of these different business lines, developing new products, and helping to drive innovation on new territories of business.

Willem’s knowledge of TV content delivery includes defining marketing strategies, roadmapping products and partnership negotiation.

Among his previous roles, he worked extensively in the cable installation side of the telecom business from 1992-2000. He was director general of France Telecom Cable from 1998-2000.

In addition, he has broad experience in Business Development and Business Unit management positions for the Orange Group, including retail management, consumer marketing and project management.
