The multi-year contract, which was recently signed by the CEO of each respective company (picture below), sees the two parties join forces to provide a larger supply of data centres with AMS-IX connectivity.
“We see that the Dutch digital infrastructure keeps growing at an enormous rate. The Dutch data centre market is even the fastest growing market in Europe,” said Job Witteman, CEO of AMS-IX.
“As neutral party we wish to spread our presence over a number of data centres. This corresponds with the philosophy of the AMS-IX model: we believe in partnerships in a collaborative setting with other parties. In this way we have been strengthening the digital infrastructure of the Netherlands and the world for over twenty years.”
AMS-IX will offer additional diversity in the data centre space to its customers. TDCG, which is a carrier and ISP-neutral twin data centre located in Amsterdam and Delft, will offer customers in Delft with the opportunity to use the AMS-IX PoP in Amsterdam.
