Falzoni has been with GlobeNet for almost a year, having joined as chief commercial officer in April 2016. He has held numerous roles in telecoms in the Latin American region over the last 20 years, including CEO of Latin American Nautilus, VP Region Americas for Telecom Italia Sparkle, and director of marketing and later director of strategy for Telecom Argentina.
In his new role, Falzoni will be responsible for marketing, sales, channel management, business development, strategy and overall company management.

He will replace Contag, who has been CEO at GlobeNet since 2008. Contag joined the wholesale provider in 2003 and has helped lead the company to significant growth, GlobeNet said.
Both have assumed their new roles immediately.
