Transatel adds Caribbean roaming with Digicel deal

European mobile provider Transatel has added 23 Caribbean islands to its roaming footprint as part of a deal with Digicel.
Customers using the France-based MVNO’s DataSIM will be able to access services across the islands in the French and Dutch West Indies under the agreement.
The partnership means Transatel’s services are ow available I more than 100 countries across Europe, Asia, Oceania, the Americas and Africa.
The SIM, which offers data only services, can be inserted into a smartphone, tablet, laptop or wireless hotpsot. To use the Caribbean bundle, it will cost Transatel customers €29 for 1GB of data.
