Lycamobile has enhanced its mobile offering in Sweden by launching 4G data services across its Swedish network after expanding its operating network agreement with Telenor Sweden.

The 4G expansion by the mobile virtual network operator (MVNO), which comes amid growing demand and investment in high-speed mobile internet in Sweden, will see the network deliver a coverage footprint of 99.5% of the country’s population.

“Our extended agreement with Telenor for our service in Sweden to include 4G data services demonstrates our commitment to making it easier for our customers to connect with their communities and loved ones across Sweden and the rest of the world,” said Subaskaran Allirajah, chairman of Lyca Group.

Lycamobile recently launched 4G in Australia after expanding its partnership with Telstra Wholesale.
