Global network service provider RETN has launched a new IP point of presence (PoP) in St. Petersburg.

RETN expanded its presence in the Russian capital at a Linx data centre situated at Repischeva Street, Build. 2A.

Earlier in the year, RETN expanded its pan-European network into the Balkans with three PoPs in Bucharest, Belgrade and Sofia.

The PoPs are interlinked and directly connected to its present PoPs in Budapest and Vienna by 10G routes. The routes are said to enable direct connection between the three largest countries on the Balkan Peninsula with the rest of Europe where RETN operates.
