NTT Com launches Myanmar enterprise internet services

NTT Communications has launched internet enterprise services in Myanmar with a network service licence from the government.

NTT Communications (NTT Com) has launched internet enterprise internet services in Myanmar.The operator has obtained a network service license from Myanmar's Ministry of Transport and Communications.

The new service, Digi-Path Premier, will be available initially in the Yangon area.

The Digi-Path Premier service consist of dedicated circuits from 1 Mbps to link enterprises with NTT Com's global internet network. Optional services include global IP address, web hosting, mail hosting, rental routers, managed firewalls, internet VPN and file transfers.

The NTT Com's new connection service offers high-speed communication offerings that connect offices with NTT Com's global internet network via dedicated optical-fibre circuits and a redundant backbone network.

NTT Com manages the delivery of circuits from the customer's office to the global internet network. The system can be provisioned in less than one month, said NTT Com, compared, it claimed, up to six months in conventional cases. Digi-Path Premier includes 24/7 monitoring of circuits.

NTT Com currently provides internet connections to enterprises globally as well as in seven Southeast Asian countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia and Myanmar.
