Orange appoints MD of international carriers

The Orange group has announced the appointment of Pierre-Louis de Guillebon as managing director of International Carriers, effective April 1 2016.

De Guillebon replaces Alexandre Pébereau who had been in the post for six years but is now tasked by Orange Excom to lead the Orange wholesale strategic mission.

The mission focuses on the “large scale transformations that are underway in today's wholesale national and international markets - a significant part of the Group revenues, over most of our footprint,” said Mari-Noëlle Jégo-Laveissière, executive vice-president of innovation, marketing and technologies.

De Guillebon joined the Orange group in 1990 to work on the foundations of the optical fibres, and then worked within Telmex in Mexico in the international operators' field. He was also COO and then CEO of Etrali and he is currently director of the Paris Entreprise Agency.

Murielle Théry, who has handled the International Carriers Controlling entity for 5 years, will be the interim head of International Carriers until the end of March 2016.
