 Telarix has been acquired by private equity firm Vista Equity Partners for an undisclosed sum. [read more

 BT will take over the UK’s largest mobile operator, EE, by the end of January 2016 after the country’s competition regulator gave the deal its approval. [read more

 Alcatel-Lucent has officially folded into Nokia following the companies’ €15.6 billion merger. [read more

International Investments 

 TI Sparkle has emerged as a major customer on the Seabras-1 cable, making a long term $300 million investment in the new route linking Brazil and the US. [read more]
 Ooredoo Oman has signed three financing deals, with both local and international banks, worth a total of $177 million. [read more
 TeliaSonera has written down the value of its operations in Uzbekistan by 5.3 billion kronor (approximately $630 million) as it seeks to discontinue its operations in Eurasia. [read more
