PCCW Global has signed a co-location agreement with Australian technology firm NEXTDC which will see the former join NEXTDC’s independent community of carriers and service providers.
NEXTDC is an ASX300-listed company that provides data centre outsourcing solutions, connectivity services and infrastructure management software to enterprises.
“This agreement demonstrates the fundamental synchronicity between international telecommunications companies and world-class regional connectivity providers like NEXTDC,” said Craig Scroggie, CEO at NEXTDC.
“We host a thriving community of IT enterprises and their end-customers, and PCCW Global has the expanding world presence.”
PCCW Global’s technology-neutral MPLS capability provides multiple services via a single connection, including IPX, and is designed to deliver high quality voice and mobile data services.
“Co-location data centres are the new forum for international IT business, because we provide secure, flexible connectivity between enterprises plus the opportunity to leverage the incredible reach of companies such as PCCW Global,” Scroggie said.
