Karsten Wildberger, who is presently group MD for consumer and acting group MD for products, has been appointed group executive of retail.
Cynthia Whelan, who is presently group MD for strategic finance and acting group executive for international, has become group executive of international and new businesses.
Finally, Joe Pollard, who is presently group MD for media and marketing, has moved to CMO and group executive for media.
The appointments are effective immediately and are expected to help drive the company’s strategic growth.
“Karsten, Cynthia and Joe are outstanding executives who have already made significant contributions to our growth ambitions and will take even larger roles in this new structure. They bring significant international experience prior to joining Telstra,” said Penn.
In August, Telstra posted its financial results for 2015, with revenues increasing by 1.2% to $26.6 billion and EBITDA decreasing 3.5% to $10.7 billion.
