Tigo Ghana appoints business director

Tigo Ghana has appointed Gottfried Odamtten-Sowah as director of Tigo Business.
Odamtten-Sowah will be responsible for strengthening the company’s business solutions, and helping small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to grow.
Odamtten-Sowah previously served as manager of commercial business at Stanbic Bank Ghana, and has also held the position of deputy head of small businesses at Standard Chartered Bank Ghana.
“Gottfried’s wealth of experience will be vital as we aim to customise value-for-money solutions for businesses,” said Roshi Motman, chief executive at Tigo Ghana.
“With our improved network quality, we want to grow and increase efficiency of businesses by providing them with innovative digital products and world class service.”
Odamtten-Sowah holds an MBA in project management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), as well as a degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ghana.
