Blue Planet reveals broadband service
07 August 2015 |
Managed network operator Blue Planet has launched its high availability broadband services, designed to provide end-users with redundancy at minimal cost.
The service from Blue Planet provides a fixed internet line with dual SIM routers, offering an additional layer of resiliency between different mobile operators.
“This is a big deal for Blue Planet and its customers, and we are happy to be amongst the first to offer it as a working package,” said Mark Hendrick, sales director at the company.
“This is something for which our carrier managers have been crying out for a while now. I think the dual SIM option in particular is a game-changer; not only can we offer now a full 100% SLA, but in a lot of cases we are looking at next day service delivery.”
In December last year, Blue Planet launched its quote-to-order offering in a bid to streamline processes.
