Zain partners with datamena
10 March 2015 |
The UAE-based carrier neutral data centre and connectivity platform datamena has entered into a partnership with the Zain Group.
The move will see Zain extend its global reach by interconnecting with various regional and international carriers, content and cloud providers, and enterprises available in datamena.
Zain will also connect the Middle East Europe Terrestrial System (MEETS) to datamena when it is launched later this year.
“This collaboration with datamena will further enhance the internet experience we provide, helping Zain to retain and attract new customers as well as complement our LTE 4G expansion strategy and support our planned roll-out of dynamic Enterprise services to corporate clients,” said Henri Kassab, MD of international, wholesale & roaming at Zain Group.
Zain joins over 70 other companies that have connected to datamena’s platform.
“As we welcome more world-leading operators like Zain to datamena, the more accessible and valuable it becomes for cloud, content and application providers as well as carriers globally,” said Fahad Al Hassawi, CCO, du.
