Italtel has leveraged Cisco’s hardware and software technologies to develop a number of IoT products, in particular developing smart grid solutions for electric utilities.
In 2014, Italtel extended its IoT portfolio to the manufacturing market, with the partners announcing that network and IT technologies are providing real-time insight into manufacturing processes and allowing manufacturers to satisfy customers' demands more quickly, while reducing operating costs.
