Hurricane Electric adds sixth German PoP
26 November 2014 |
Hurricane Electric has added a PoP in Interxion’s Dusseldorf data centre.
It marks the company’s sixth German PoP and is said to allow customers in Germany access to one of the most robust IPv6 backbones in Europe.
“Hurricane Electric is committed to providing unparalleled IP connectivity to customers in the EU and around the world,” said Mike Leber, president of Hurricane Electric. “I’m particularly excited about our most recent expansion, as Germany is the largest European IT market. The Dusseldorf PoP will allow Hurricane Electric to remain a leader in the incredible growth in IPv6 traffic.”
Earlier this month, Hurricane Electric also launched its first PoP in Dublin, Ireland.
