Interoute has launched a Virtual Data Centre (VDC) zone in Los Angeles.
It marks the company’s second VDC in the US this year, following the launch of its New York operations in June.
Interoute is aiming to support both European and US enterprises with its cloud platform, which now covers both coasts of the US.
“Opening an Interoute Virtual Data Centre in LA allows American businesses to expand into European markets through a platform that offers public cloud convenience with private cloud confidence,” said Matthew Finnie, Interoute’s CTO.
Interoute has been rapidly expanding its global cloud platform, launching eight virtual data centres already this year. It offers a total of 13 locations, covering the US, Europe and Asia.
