Capacity Asia day 1 – China Mobile has signed a partnership with NTT DoCoMo for TD-LTE roaming services in China.

The deal will provide NTT DoCoMo customers based in Japan with the ability to roam on China Mobile’s TD-LTE network in China.

NTT DoCoMo claims to be the first Japanese mobile operators to offer such roaming services in China, and its users will benefit from speeds of up to 150Mbps.

The Japanese player’s international LTE roaming services now cover 27 countries and plans to increase this figure in 2015.

In August this year, NTT DoCoMo partnered with Huawei for the successful trial of LTE services over 5GHz of unlicensed spectrum.

Capacity Asia is running in Bangkok, Thailand, from November 18-20.
