Global Cloud Xchange (GCX) has appointed Vanina de Verneuil as its general counsel.
She will serve on the company’s executive leadership team assuming responsibility for global corporate and legal affairs.
Verneuil brings over 10 years of experience working for financial institutions, mainly focussed on capital markets and M&A transactions.
“Vanina has a diverse legal background and extensive experience working with both established and emerging growth companies. Her global perspective and acquisition experience is a great match for our business as we actively pursue our long-term global growth strategy,” said Bill Barney, CEO, GCX.
In late August, GCX also appointed Mark Simpson as North America president.
The appointments come as the former Reliance Globalcom business pushes ahead with plans to deploy a new cloud platform designed to tap into the global demand from enterprise and new media organisations.
