French operator Orange has reached a deal to acquire fixed-line company Jazztel in a bid to bolster its position in the Spanish market. [read more]

Danish incumbent TDC has agreed to acquire Norwegian cable-TV provider Get AS for 12.5 billion Danish crowns ($2.2 billion). [read more]

 

Russian telco Vimpelcom and Egypt’s Global Telecom have jointly agreed to sell their stake in Wind Canada to Canadian investment firm, Globalive Capital, for $122.05 million. [read more]
