Nokia Networks appoints LatAm head

Nokia Networks has appointed Dimitri Diliani as VP of Latin America at the company, following the resignation of Almir Narcizo.

Narcizo has left the role to “seek new opportunities outside of Nokia”, and Diliani will take over with immediate effect.

Diliani joined Nokia from Lucent Technologies in 2005 and has a long record both within the company – including positions in Africa and the US – and in the wider telecoms industry.

Diliani will be based in São Paulo, Brazil, where last April, TIM Brasil selected the vendor to roll out a 4G LTE network.
