NTT expands data centre partnership with NVIDIA
04 August 2014 |
Visual computing technologies provider NVIDIA has extended its partnership with NTT Communications, selecting the carrier’s Hong Kong data centre facilities as its hub for the Asia-Pacific region.
The move will also see NVIDIA deploy NTT Com’s Arcstar Global Leased Line Service, which will help extend its business connectivity throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
NTT Com will provide NVIDIA with point-to-point Ethernet leased line with up to 10Gbps capability over its network. It builds on a six-year relationship between the two companies.
“Business continuity is critical for our company. The proven quality of NTT Communications’ ICT services, together with its total data centre solution for our mission-critical application and flexible service offerings have been the key reasons for our selection,” said Tony Chang, NVIDIA APAC IT infrastructure manager.
NTT Com also recently expanded its partnership with Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT) to provide its enterprise customers with NTT Com’s enterprise cloud solution.
