Orange Business Services strikes cloud deal with Salesforce
27 June 2014 |
Orange Business Services has added software solutions and enterprise cloud computing provider Salesforce to its cloud hub, Business VPN Galerie.
The move is said to combine the benefits of VPN networks with the value and flexibility of the cloud computing model pioneered by Salesforce.com.
Business VPN Galerie, which was launched in 2010, provides services to more than 700 multinational customers at over 15,000 sites. Through the cloud-ready network, customers can access Orange and its partners’ infrastructure and software as a service.
Services include end-to-end management and support, reliability, performance and security.
“Companies are connecting with their customers in a whole new way to thrive in today’s connected world,” said Olivier Derrien, SVP, enterprise sales, Salesforce.com. “Orange is accelerating this shift for its customers with the addition of Salesforce to the Business VPN Galerie.”
