SingTel launches UCaaS in Asia-Pacific region

Singapore Telecommunications (SingTel) has launched Unified Communications-as-a-Service (UCaaS) for businesses in Asia-Pacific.

The service is an integrated cloud communications platform with a hosted suite of products that includes voice, video and messaging. It is targeted at businesses and offers a communication infrastructure which is available to employees through both fixed lines and mobile devices.

“By taking UCaaS to cloud, we relieve enterprises of the burden of managing their own communications infrastructure and offer them a scalable and flexible solution Asia-wide,” said Bill Chang, CEO of SingTel Group Enterprise.

“By leveraging SingTel UCaaS, enterprises across Asia can empower their workforce to be more productive by facilitating the ease of contacting and collaborating with their colleagues or external stakeholders anytime, anywhere and on any device,” Chang added.

Last month, SingTel announced that it was looking to expand its cloud and network business.
