Monaco Telecom has entered a partnership with Space Systems International Monaco (SSI-Monaco) to support its new satellite telecoms services business

SSI-Monaco is due to launch the MonacoSat satellite by the end of this year which will allow the company to provide services to the Middle East, North Africa, Central Asia and Europe.

Monaco Telecom will be providing infrastructure and services using the satellite ground station, enabling SSI-Monaco to make use of the operators’ connectivity agreements with carriers, as well as its access to the Europe India Gateway submarine cable.

"With this agreement Monaco Telecom will enhance its ability to provide global telecommunications solutions in the Europe-Africa-Asia area,” said Martin Péronnet, managing director of Monaco Telecom.

“This is an exciting opportunity for growth and we are pleased to be working with SSI-Monaco to be delivering this innovative solution.”
