Saudi Telecom Company (STC) has renewed its managed services contract with Nokia Solutions and Networks (NSN) to improve operational efficiency, network performance and quality of service.

NSN will continue to provide the Saudi Arabian operator with a managed services portfolio, including network planning and optimisation, network and service operations, in addition to hardware and software services for the company’s Al Jawal Network.

“With our expertise in operating multi-technology networks for many operators, we deliver high-quality network performance to STC,” said Hani Dib, head of the STC customer team at NSN Saudi Arabia. “Our managed service helps boost end-to-end network and service performance, and hence allows STC to focus its resources on core business activities.”

The contract covers GSM, 3G and LTE within NSN’s footprint, and the original partnership has now been in place for over a decade.
