Dimension Data acquires French IT company NextiraOne

NTT Corporation’s South African unit, Dimension Data, has acquired French IT firm NextiraOne for an undisclosed fee.
The acquisition is part of a plan to double the company’s annual revenue by 2018, and it stated it has already expanded its European presence to 16 countries from 10 as a result.
Dimension Data’s global reach now extends to 58 countries, and it has approximately 1,900 permanent employees in areas where the company is looking to develop networking and application functions.
Dimension Data has been active in making strategic acquisitions over recent years, and acquired cloud services company OpSource in 2011.
NTT acquired Dimension Data in 2010.
