African operator MTN has partnered with CSG International for the deployment of its traffic management solutions in a bid to improve its international calling service.
The company hopes that the additional products will optimise inter-carrier traffic management and help boost profitability and quality of service.
“International traffic is a core element of our business, and the establishment of a best-in-class traffic management practice will help us deliver a distinct customer experience while growing our strong position in the highly competitive South African telecoms market,” said Sethunya Mbete, general manager, carrier services at MTN South Africa.
MTE launched a 4G/LTE network in Uganda in April of this year.
