US data centre provider, 365 Main, has today opened its 17th data centre, located in Emeryville, California.
The facility, which 365 acquired from co-location and managed services provider, Evocative, is located in close proximity to 365’s headquarters in San Francisco, and its San Jose data centre.
“Our customers wanted to see our highly available and attentive services in this location, and we responded,” said Chris Dolan, CEO at 365 Main.
“We’re proud to deliver 365 Main’s quality and customised service, and broaden our presence in the San Francisco Bay area market.”
Carriers connected to the data centre include AT&T, Verizon and Zayo, and it is said to offer a secure site with complete redundancy in its power and cooling infrastructure.
“Our customers have the added benefit of being part of a large, nationwide platform of data centres that is continuing to expand domestically,” Dolan added.
