Sigma acquires Tribold

10 July 2013 |

OSS and BSS provider Sigma Systems has acquired UK-based enterprise product management software firm Tribold.

The move is thought to support Sigma’s Cloud ServiceBroker product, which was launched last year. The product is designed to help carriers and cable operators extend their business service offering through a variety of cloud-based applications.

"With the Tribold acquisition, Sigma has redefined the ‘idea to install' platform, offering a complete, catalog-driven suite of solutions for service providers. Service providers can now take immediate advantage of network and service innovation to roll out value-added services, including consumer, enterprise, cloud and M2M applications, and to improve revenues and margins in their core businesses," said Tim Spencer, president and COO, Sigma Systems.

Sigma’s customer base is said to include over 50 CSPs, including the likes of Rogers, Telus and America Movil.

Financial details of the deal are undisclosed.
