Integrated Telecom Company interconnects with datamena

Integrated Telecom Company (ITC) and UAE operator datamena have announced an agreement to set up a multi-service PoP in Dubai.

The facility will be set up in datamena’s carrier neutral data centre, and includes Tier-1 IP transit, carriers and content players.

As part of the development, ITC will be able to create a Network-to-Network Interface with regional and international service providers, while also allowing for a PoP presence within datamena’s infrastructure.

“We welcome ITC in datamena, helping them boost their connectivity and presence in the region and beyond,” said Mahesh Jaishankar, VP at datamena.

The interconnection further gives ITC the ability to tap into other Tier-1 providers through the datamena hub, and increase the strength of its international network.

“Interconnecting with major regional providers is a key step to growth and an important part of our commitment to provide superior connectivity solutions for enterprise connectivity projects with more capacity for global expansion,” added Georges Jaber, VP wholesale, business sales and solutions at ITC.
