SFR launches LTE in Paris La Défense with NSN Liquid Radio

French operator SFR has officially launched commercial 4G services in Paris La Défense.
The company has also announce it has selected Nokia Siemens Networks as a radio supplier to implement 4G LTE network to upgrade its existing GSM and 3G networks in major French cities.
NSN’s liquid radio technology is designed to help SFR meet growing capacity requirements and provide subscribers with an enhanced 4G experience.
SFR, which launched 4G commercially in the European business district today, has also launched in Paris and the partnership is intended to increase 4G quality service.
“As a long-term, trusted, technology partner of SFR, we are very excited to bring our latest mobile broadband innovations to La Défense,” said Benoit Duchêne, head of SFR customer business team at NSN. “With our Liquid Radio solution, SFR is able to deliver mobile internet performance and accelerate the take-up of 4G.”
