Etisalat partners with Pacific Controls for cloud offering

Middle Eastern carrier Etisalat is partnering with Pacific Controls Cloud Services (PCCS) to launch cloud services for enterprise customers across the GCC region.
The offering will include on-demand infrastructure-as-a-service; subscription based payments, 24/7 access, scalability on demand, pooled computing resources and high security.
It will be hosted in the Uptime Institute-certified Tier 3 data centre located in Dubai Technopark.
“The core objective of our partnership is to provide high-quality, innovative cloud-based IT infrastructure services to enterprises in the region. Our cloud offerings will allow businesses to access a diverse array of applications and extend customers' IT capabilities with no capital cost, with significant enhancements to their flexibility, scalability and speed,” said Dilip Rahulan, executive chairman at Pacific Controls.
The PCCS-Etisalat service will be available as public, private or hybrid cloud based on business requirements.
It will be available to a variety of verticals including government, finance, education, energy, wholesale and retail, airline, logistics and real estate organisations.
