EmblaCom strikes SaaS deal in Latin America

Finnish communication provider EmblaCom announced the signing of a software-as-a-service agreement for a mobile PBX with an operator group in Latin America.

EmblaCom said the deal strengthens its position in the region and confirms market requirements for business services based on the SaaS model.

Two operator groups have chosen EmblaCom as their partners for business services, and it is considered that the company’s mobile PBX platform gives it a competitive advantage.

The company primarily operates in the Nordics, and has experience in selling and marketing services in Europe. Considering the lucrative Latin America market, the company expects similar success in this region to what it has experienced in its home market.

Janne Sivula, VP business development at the company, said: “The company’s success is based on three things: a long history and experience in this segment, a strict focus on SoHo/SME services and an easy to use product that appeals to business customers.”

EmblaCom has almost a million subscribers in Finland, Sweden and Norway.
