Huawei opens GNOC in Bangalore

Huawei has announced the opening of a Global Network Operations Centre (GNOC) in Bangalore, India. The facility will complement Huawei’s network operation centre (NOC) in New Delhi and offer a wide range of managed services capabilities.

The GNOC will also work closely with the company’s existing research and development (R&D) centre in Bangalore, which was established 11 years ago. The R&D centre will provide the GNOC with direct R&D expertise and access to new innovations and developments.

The GNOC will provide services such as network design, customer support, network optimisation, systems integration, and network transformation.

“The opening of this Global Network Operations Centre marks the beginning of a new chapter for Huawei, and specifically for Huawei in India,” said Dr Leroy Garwood Blimegger, junior VP of Huawei Global Technical Service (GTS).
