BT has appointed Niall Dunne as chief sustainability officer to lead the telco’s climate change and sustainable development strategy.
Dunne will be responsible for co-ordinating all BTs sustainable activities and ensuring that the company carries out sustainable practices. Prior to joining BT, Dunne was responsible for sustainability practices in Saatchi & Saatchi where he was MD for EMEA from 2008 to 2010. He also worked for Accenture for eight years, founding its climate change and sustainability practice. Dunne has chaired a number of industry initiatives, including the Sustainable Consumption Project Board for the World Economic Forum in 2009.
