Schröter will be based in Munich. Schröter has over 20 years of experience in management and financial management, as well as a background in mergers and acquisitions. In his previous role with Infineon Technologies in Munich, Schröter was a chief financial officer and served as a human resources officer. Schröter joined Infineon in 2008 and prior to that was a chief financial officer at Schenker. Earlier in his career he held leader positions in planning and finance at Stinnes.
