Jan-Willem Scheerder is VP of sales for KPN International, having worked in various roles for KPN over 10 years.

KPN International provides data and IP communications for corporate and wholesale customers worldwide and owns 120,000km of land and sea network.

“I first began reading Capacity when I was sales director for KPN Wholesale’s domestic market in the Netherlands. Compared to other more regionally-specific publications, Capacity offers a greater insight into the background and development of wholesale partners on a global scale.

During my new role as VP of sales with KPN International, Capacity’s global perspective has become an even more important resource – particularly as this is still a new area of the business for me. I can keep an eye on our competition, obtain information on new products and see the strategic choices made by my peers in different regions. The magazine also helps me generate ideas for new business opportunities which I can feed onto our product management department.
