Neutral Networks has confirmed plans for a new fibre ring of more than 40 miles in Queretaro, Mexico.

The new infrastructure will bolster Mexico's digital growth, as well as attract investment from global players. Once completed, the new fibre ring will bring Neutral Networks network to a total of more than 96 miles in Queretaro.

"At Neutral Networks, we have 100% neutral infrastructure, and we are ready to offer a real alternative to the market, with a new network that meets the highest quality standards required by hyperscalers and international carriers," said Gabriel Navarro (pictured), CEO of Even Group, parent company of Neutral Networks.

The 40+ miles of fibre in Queretaro will be located underground with dark fiber, network capacity and wavelength products available, as well as a carrier-class service to enable this network to used as a infrastructure backbone. The ring will be connected to the more than 1,864 route miles Neutral Networks owns across 10 key cities in Mexico.

"At Neutral Networks, we continue to grow our network of more than 1,864 miles, and we have a very aggressive investment plan to connect the Queretaro area with the United States through a new long-distance network that we are already building," added Navarro.

"The country does not have the necessary infrastructure to meet the demand for the next 5-10 years, and our neutral network will be a very secure option for our customers."
