Palo Alto Networks appoints Reisinger as CEO of EMEA and LATAM

Palo Alto Networks has appointed Helmut Reisinger as it new CEO of Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Latin America (LATAM).

Reisinger enters the role having previously served as CEO of Orange Business Services. During his tenure Reisinger led a global organisation of 28,000 employees supporting the digital transformation of enterprise customers around the world. Prior to this, Reisinger held leadership positions across Europe at Avaya, NextiraOne Germany and Alcatel Austria.

In this new role, Reisinger will work closely with the company's president BJ Jenkins to drive the acceleration of the company's global growth strategy as well as joining CEO and chairman Nikesh Arora's management team.

"Given the recent rapid growth of the worldwide cybersecurity market, we see significant opportunities to accelerate our international business. Working together with BJ, Helmut's relentless focus on the customer and understanding of the international business ecosystem will help us drive our robust EMEA business to future growth, while developing our growing Latin American business."

The news follows Palo Alto Networks' joining the Nasdaq-100 Index, home to the top 100 largest domestic and international non-financial companies on the Nasdaq exchange based on market capitalisation, at the time Arora said:
