LOGOS and Pure Data Centres (Pure DC) have established a partnership aimed at developing data centre infrastructure across the Asia-Pacific region (APAC).

The agreement combines LOGOS’, an industrial infrastructure development specialist, logistics platform and reach across APAC with Pure DC’s, a data centre developer and operator, hyperscale design and operational capabilities.

“There is an acute undersupply of mission critical data centre infrastructure in Asia-Pacific and we are pleased to partner with Pure DC to increase the availability of these essential assets," said Frederic Devos, head of infrastructure at LOGOS.

"Both Pure DC and LOGOS are committed to deliver best-in-class sustainability metrics while improving the capital efficiency of this sector across the region.”

LOGOS' has presence in ten operating markets across APAC delivering global and localised resources across the entire real estate life cycle, paired with certainty over new land acquisitions in supply constrained markets. For its part, Pure DC contributes an established data centre platform and a robust customer network.

“We are delighted to expand our already successful relationship with LOGOS, who share our desire to be at the forefront of innovation and sustainability.  This partnership will enable us to deliver the large-scale sustainable data centres customers demand, across the ten geographies where LOGOS operates and holds assets," said Martin Lynch, chief executive at Pure DC.

"Combining this asset base with our excellent technical and operational know-how provides a greatly simplified and repeatable delivery solution for the world’s leading technology companies as they seek to expand in multiple geographies across the region.”

Both LOGOS and Pure DC have a common vision for sustainability and aim to incorporate sustainability objectives into design and operation. Specifically, the two are committed to delivering carbon neutral facilities, using renewable power and minimising water usage on all their projects.

Once these projects have been developed, both companies expect that it will help facilitate the rollout of new large-scale renewable power infrastructure in underserved markets.

“Our existing partnership with Pure DC has evolved to accommodate LOGOS new approach to developing and investing into fully fitted out data centres," added Trent Iliffe, managing director & CEO at LOGOS.

"The combination of LOGOS’s real estate portfolio and in-country development resources with Pure DC’s technical and operational expertise allows us to meet any customer need. We believe this expansion of our relationship provides a unique gateway for the many international clients seeking to enter this region through a consistently repeatable interface on a one-stop basis.”
