CBRE’s data centre team has welcomed two new execs as the firm continues its "strategic expansion" across Europe.

Jeptha Allen (pictured right) has joined as a senior director within the team’s digital infrastructure advisory team and Michael Cohen (pictured left) has been appointed as a data centre advisory director.

Allen, who was most recently with Green Sparrow Consulting, is to take responsibility for CBRE's programme management and strategy deployments for enterprise clients who are reviewing their data centre and IT infrastructure strategies.

Cohen – who founded ITT Advisory and has been its CEO since 2008 – will be responsible for identifying, developing and winning specialist IT infrastructure advisory and data centre-focused real estate opportunities. He will work with enterprise clients across the EMEA region, with a primary focus on the growing data centre market of Paris.

Commenting on the hires, Andrew Jay, head of EMEA data centre solutions, advisory and transaction services: “We are delighted to welcome Jeptha and Michael to the team. Their wealth of experience will be vital as we look to expand our capabilities across Europe to ensure we can continue to provide our clients with optimal service provision and geographical coverage. We have seen rapid growth in the Data Centre market, over the last five years we have seen supply grow at twice the speed across the core markets and it is essential that we can respond to the growing demand.”
