Telstra has appointed Noah Drake as vice president of the customer solutions group for the Americas region.

In his new role based in Denver, Drake will lead a specialist team that works with customers to create value by bringing together the full capabilities of Telstra’s products and services. Drake will report directly to Nicholas Collins, president and managing director of the Americas for Telstra.

“We are really excited to have Noah join our leadership team at Telstra. With our recent entry into Canada, and the investment we are making in our network, products and further geographic expansion across the region, Noah joins us at a pivotal time to help lead this exciting growth phase,” said Collins.

“We are here to provide a compelling and distinctive experience for our customers, and a key part of what sets us apart is our people. Customers trust us to support them with their international expansion from North America to other parts of the world, and Noah’s substantial expertise across the market, technology and customers will be a great addition to our team.”

Drake enters the role with almost a decade of experience in the international communications space, with a particular focus in building top performing teams and rapidly scaling in high growth environments.

Most recently, Drake served as vice president of product management at Zayo Group, responsible for the fibre and infrastructure portfolio of services. Prior to this, he served as senior director of global reach where he was tasked with launching Zayo’s new market expansion team.

“As a great admirer of Telstra – with both an innovative corporate mindset, deep team knowledge and substantial technology resources – I’m delighted to be joining the team,” said Drake.

“The opportunity to play a part in helping North American companies access global markets and bring the best of technology to our customers is incredibly exciting.”

The news comes as Telstra has made a number of recent appointments in support of the launch of its new capabilities that will support businesses as they transition to a post-pandemic world.
