LOGIX Fiber Networks has completed two major power upgrades in its Dallas data centres.

At its 2323 Bryan Street location in Dallas, the telecoms connectivity provider and data centre services firm has replaced the A-side UPS with the latest 100KVA UPS equipment, and is planning to add an additional UPS in the “coming months”, it said.

Additionally, at its 1950 N. Stemmons Freeway location in Dallas, the company has upgraded its DC battery plant to better support LOGIX’s core voice and data network infrastructure.

Also, LOGIX’s Fort Worth data center is undergoing several enhancements, including the addition of a new B-side power 100KVA UPS and upgrades to its customer lobby and office areas.

“Leadership in technology, financial services, manufacturing, education and connectivity continues to make the Dallas and Fort Worth areas especially attractive markets for our SMB and enterprise customers,” said Craig Collins, chief executive officer at LOGIX.

“Our downtown and well-connected Fort Worth and Dallas data centres are ideal locations for companies fuelling this area’s growth.”

The facilities offer colocation services, among others, to customers of all sizes, supported by the LOGIX fibre network and also numerous other third party carriers.
