Prior to joining mac-group, King spent the past 5 years working with Collen Construction in the growth of their data centre division across Europe.
During his tenure, he worked with the team in delivering approximately 300MW in regions such as Sweden, Dublin, Germany, Finland while setting up offices and procuring in other locations for future growth such as Madrid, Denmark, and London.
Such clients for these projects have included Equinix, AWS, Microsoft, Iron Mountain and Keppel, among others.
According to the firm, to the new role King brings “excellent strategic planning, operational and senior management skills which he utilises very effectively”.
He also holds a MSc, BBS, PGDip Sales Management, HDip Project Management and is “very up to speed with market trends in the DC sector leading a construction team with huge experience, loyalty, trust, and can-do attitude, program and delivery been key”.
