In early 2020, Euclyde acquired the former HSBC data centre in the Paris region of Lognes, located South East of central Paris. After adapting it for its colocation operations, Euclyde connected it to several additional network operators as well as to other third-party data centre’s including its own.
In addition, Euclyde inked a long-term contract to host fifteen different public sector government bodies at the new Lognes facilities.
At the same time, the company also began construction of a new data centre in Strasbourg, located North East of France, near the German border. In partnership with SOCOMEC, a French provider of electric manufacturing equipment, the new site will become ready for service in the fourth quarter of 2021 and host both public and private sector organisations.
At present, Euclyde currently owns and operates six data centres in Nice, Marseille, Lyon, Besancon and Paris. The companu is rapidly expanding its French edge data infrastructure with plans to build a further five to six edge sites over the next three years. In total Euclyde aims to have 15 sites by 2025
Euclyde Data Centers is jointly owned by the Kwattro group and two investment funds of the French Credit Agricole bank.
