Transatel and BT renew 5G MVNO partnership

Transatel's has extended its partnership with BT giving its MVNO customers access to wi-fi calling, VoLTE and 5G.

In addition, the renewed partnership means that MVNOs of all sizes, across a range of industries, will continue to benefit from Transatel's value-added services. In the UK, that includes utility companies (Utilita, Ecotalk), community-based MVNOs (China Telecom Europe), B2B reseller MVNOs (Abzorb), and retail MVNO brands such as Plusnet, The Phone Co-op.

Thanks to Transatel's partnership with BT Wholesale, it has been able to expand its customer base beyond traditional MVNOs to serve charities, local providers, food distributors and discounters.

With the agreement now in place, Transatel will have enhanced access to BT’s mobile business EE's national footprint, with 4G available approximately 95% of the time according to Opensignal.
