Clearcable and TVC/Minerva partner on video expansion

Clearcable is to expand its hosted IPTV services with new feature and device options following a partnership with TVC/Minerva Networks.

Leveraging Minerva’s IPTV platform, the service has been designed to deliver a “next generation user experience”.

“The fact that nearly two-thirds of Canada’s population enjoys digital video services, almost twice as much as the worldwide average, represents a great opportunity for Clearcable as they address the evolving needs of regional operators” said Randy Osborne, SVP worldwide sales at Minerva Networks.

Minerva deployed its first end-to-end IPTV system in the US in 2001. In 2019, it acquired the “sports social network”, which it credited with operating leading AI-based technologies. was integrated with the Minerva platform to allow watch together functions and smart recording.
