MTN Ivory Coast picks Amplement for unified communications app

MTN Ivory Coast has selected Cloud Unified Communications provider, Amplement, for its Corporate Unified Communications application.

Through the collaboration, Ivorian companies will benefit from the quality of service akin to other global telcos, as well as being able to provide their employees with a tool that will allow them to improve their productivity, work collaboratively and keep contact regardless of their location.

“We selected Amplement to meet a major need for unified communication in Ivory Coast. All our customers request the latest generation of corporate communication tools,” said Idriss N'Daho, collaboration manager at MTN.

“We found in Amplement, what we were looking for: an advanced tool, ultra-technology, and a team of experts. We are delighted with this collaboration."

Through the agreement, Amplement will strengthens its presence in Africa while at the same time allowing MTN to serve more effectively Ivorian companies who wish to improve their efficiency and economic performance.

"The evolution of mobility and working methods did not date from the health and economic crisis,” added Patrick Bergougnou, CEO of Amplement.

“However, with containment, companies have realized that, while equipped with adequate communication tools, it is quite possible to develop remote working and reduce travel costs, without impacting and even improving employee’s efficiency."

In related news, Gameloft Business Solutions launched MTN Arcade, a new mobile gaming subscription platform available to all MTN customers in South Africa.

The partnership marks the launch of Gameloft Business Solutions, a provider of gaming solutions for carriers and manufacturers, under its new identity.
