IPTP Networks, a global telecoms provider, has announced the deployment of a new point of presence (PoP) with IXcellerate in Moscow, Russia.

Through the new partnership, IPTP will now be able to offer its hosting and colocation services at IXcellerates Moscow One data centre. The collaboration will also enable IPTP to be able to offer a wider range of services in Moscow helping to expand its overall presence in the growing IT market in Russia. Some of the new services on offer include global connectivity, dedicated hosting, colocation and systems integration.

“When we decided to expand our capacities in Moscow our first thought of a partner was IXcellerate,” said Valery Chigirev, Business Development Manager at IPTP. “Nowadays IXcellerate is a fast-developing and the most successful data centre facility in Russia, which means that their ability to grow and cooperate stands on the same path as ours. Moreover, IXcellerate datacenter allows us to not only establish our PoP, but also to provide our best services, such as global connectivity, different types of remote and integration services, on a high-quality level and on the most convenient partnership terms.”

Additionally, IPTP will join the affiliated Eurasia Peering Internet Exchange, which significantly improves its connection with major peering partners in Russia.

The news follows IPTP’s announcement at the end of 2019, that it has launched a new PoP in Manama, Bahrain, adding to the company’s expanding global presence. The company also shared that it is hard at work on connectivity to IX.BR (Brazil), Australia IX, New Zealand IX, ZA-INX (South Africa) and VNIX (Vietnam).
